Sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), the W³ Awards are kind of a big deal in the marketing world, and this year, Trilix brought home two awards: a silver award for client Master Builders of Iowa’s website and a gold award for our own website!
The W³ Awards celebrate digital excellence by honoring outstanding websites, web marketing, video, mobile sites/apps and social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators around the world. It is the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms and everyone in between.
“We were once again amazed by the high level of execution and creativity found in the entries we received this year. Our W³ winners continue to embody what the internet is all about as they once again raise the bar in web development and design. We are truly honored to have the privilege to experience such a diverse and remarkable pool of work this year,” said Derek Howard, director of AIVA.
"We approached the building of our own website much the same way we would build a client’s site, by identifying audience, message and functionality, and by utilizing the expertise across all departments,” said Vice President of Interactive Yancy de Lathouder. “Our creative team directed the branding and general visual strategy, our video team gave motion, PR and communications crafted the copy and our interactive team married form with function, bringing the vision to life."
Trilix was fortunate enough to develop the new Master Builders of Iowa website. We partnered with Master Builders of Iowa to create a website that looks good and delivers an exceptional user experience. While meeting the client’s goals is always priority one, having that work recognized with a W³ is award is reassurance that we are going about it the right way.
This year, the W³ Awards received over 5,000 entries from advertising agencies, PR firms, interactive agencies, in-house creative professionals, web designers, graphic designers and web enthusiasts. On average, less than 10 percent of all entries are selected as Gold Winners. Given the big-name players and the ceremony’s international standing, we are humbled to have received these awards.
