Trilix is excited to welcome two young and talented summer interns that bring the latest concepts they learned from school and from previous experiences. Meet Marketing/Public Relations Intern Caitlin Morrison and Project Management Intern Noah Saluri. Both bring an interesting, dynamic set of skills to our team.

Caitlin hails from the Chicago suburb of Glenview, Illinois. She’s a senior at Valparaiso University, majoring in finance and accounting and minoring in data analytics and marketing. Not only does she have skills in finance, accounting, data analytics and marketing, but Caitlin also stars on the Valpo basketball team (go, Crusaders!).

As the marketing/PR intern at Trilix, Caitlin works on various communications projects, including reporting and analysis, social media planning and execution, research and data entry for clients. Caitlin’s school experience, both in class and on the court, have given her the experience she needs to excel in effective time management — essential for any role in an agency.

Caitlin’s interest in communications stems from her passion to explore her creativity and to learn more about marketing-related fields. “I was interested in this communications/PR role because I wanted to see what this part of marketing is like,” Caitlin noted. “It gives you room to be more creative and learn about a lot of different clients Trilix works with.”

Noah, on the other hand, is a Des Moines native and a senior at Iowa State University who studies advertising with a minor in general business. Although Noah is quite familiar with the Des Moines culture, Noah also has international experience which stems from a semester abroad in Italy. During his time in Italy, Noah had the privilege to take courses pertaining to his major and gained a cultural experience, which included indulging in traditional Italian foods and exquisite wines. Noah’s extensive learning experience in advertising during his time at ISU and studying abroad is providing him the skills he needs to perform well in his role.

Noah was inclined to pursue a position in account management for many reasons, including the role allows him to dabble in various other departments that we have here at Trilix — communications/PR, creative, interactive, media and video.

“I was drawn to account management mainly because it is the one position that allows you to work with people from all areas within the agency,” reflected Noah. “This position will provide me with insight on what goes on within each department, as well as how everything from each department comes together in the end.”

When Noah isn’t managing projects, he enjoys everything related to barbecue (a true Iowan, for sure). His favorite meal is a brisket dinner with a side of mac and cheese and waffle fries at the famous Jethro’s by Drake University.

Join us in welcoming Caitlin and Noah this summer. Read below for some fun facts.

I think I would want to be a basketball coach or a trainer. I grew up playing basketball my whole life, and I really enjoy being around it.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy working out and playing basketball, but I also like water skiing, downhill skiing, going to the beach and other outdoor activities.

At home in Chicago, my family has four dogs named Elsie, Sammie, Latte and Bailey.

Are you a morning person or night owl?

I am definitely a morning person because I like to wake up and get my day started.

One of my favorite TV shows is “The Office.”

Fun Facts about Noah

If you didn’t work in this industry, what would your second career choice be?

If I didn’t work in this industry and would be skilled and excel in any industry I wanted, I would choose to be a house flipper like Chip Gains from “Fixer Upper.”

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would that be?

If I could have dinner with anyone, I would choose George R. R. Martin, the writer of “A Song of Ice and Fire” — the books that “Game of Thrones” was based on. I think it would be fun to talk about the books and the show with him.
