Cultivated from a unique partnership between Bayer CropScience and MS Technologies, Balance GT is a new soybean performance system engineered for maximum performance. Positioned as the “Next Era of Performance and Control,” Trilix built a brand and developed a marketing plan to carve out a niche in an already competitive national and international marketplace. The rollout began with a focus on education, and we started by launching a comprehensive awareness campaign to introduce Balance GT to growers well in advance of the product’s market availability.

Commodity Classic

To make an impact out of the gates, we introduced Balance GT at one of the industry’s premier trade shows, Commodity Classic. We commanded the show. Large sponsorships and placements firmly placed the Balance GT brand front and center. The booth drew in visitors by dispersing free branded hats and various promotions, which allowed us to distribute collateral and engage in educational conversation. Additionally, Balance GT sponsored and representatives spoke at several educational events to further extend the brand’s presence. Balance GT also treated nearly 500 potential licensees, growers and industry leaders to a reception to start building a relationship with this key audience.

Booth visitors were encouraged to pick up branded wristbands and incentivized to wear them throughout the show. The Balance GT prize patrol walked the floor and instantly awarded those seen wearing the brand.

Farm Progress

With the momentum captured at Commodity Classic, Balance GT moved on to the largest outdoor trade show in America, Farm Progress. With over 200,000 attendees, Farm Progress was the perfect stage to continue Balance GT’s educational campaign. Through an impactful presence with the Balance GT booth and utilizing unique sponsorships, we made a lasting impression on growers, continuing to build a strong brand foundation.
